| SAYSS condemn police action on Muthi residents | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | July 29
Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangarsh Samati condemned the brutal force of police action on inhabitants of Muthi and called it violation of law under norms. The yesterday's police action on denizens of Muthi have been condemned by Sangarsh Samati as the way police entered into the homes of people and smashed their vehicles and other articles besides beating old and young. Addressing a press conference here on Friday, SAYSS spokesperson Tilak Raj Sharma said that police have violated all the norms of law in Muthi and if the masses retaliated against the police action, Sangarsh Samati would not be held responsible for it. He also said that Sangarsh Samati has no political agenda and everyone associated with the conglomerate were fighting for the same cause of restoration of land allotment order of SASB. "We today feel surprising when hear that NC has condemning police action on people of Muthi as it was there leader who in parliament says that they should die but not leave an inch of land", he said. He warned Congress, NC and PDP for making comments on the present crisis and blamed them for hatching conspiracy to revoke the allotment of land granting to SASB. President of the tankers association Anan Sharma who was also present during press conference maintained that tankers association supporting the cause of Sangarsh Samati and for this purpose they have decided not to send any tanker to valley for next two days. While serving seven days ultimatum to government for restoration of land order of SASB, he said that if government failed to full fill their demand within the time frame, then tankers association would review again their decision on fuel supply to valley. Brigadier Suchit Singh, Prof. Virender Gupta and Devender Singh were also present on the occasion. |
