NC, PDP, Cong exploiting religious sentiments: Milchar front

General Secretary, J-K Milchar Front K.K Rao has appealed the people of Jammu region for strengthening the communal brotherhood and not believe false statements as given in some Kashmir based news papers. He said a valley based newspaper in its July 28 issue on page 10 carried a news item that “Poonch-Rajouri reject BJP’s Division Plan, Quit threat create panic among Muslims in Jammu” is totally baseless. Rao added BJP president Ashok Khajuria has not given threat to the Muslims to quit Jammu but has asked NC, President Umar Abdulla and other political leaders of Kashmir who have acquired forest land at Sidhra to quit Jammu.
“He has not given any warning to Muslims of Poonch, Rajouri, Doda and not even to the Muslims of Kashmir. The statement given Shafiq Mir in Greater Kashmir is totally baseless.”
Rao said targeting lawyers, who are the last hope of surety of legal rights of people, shows the level of dictatorship let loose in Jammu. He appealed the Govt employees and all section of the society of Jammu region to support the agitation. As the present movement has become people’s movement inspired by the 60 years misrule of Kashmiri rulers and continuous discrimination against Jammu region. Rao urged the government to release all those arrested in the agitation, resolve the basic issue of agitation.
He said, people of the state have under stood the design of PDP, NC and Congress and other parties here, and have exploited the religions sentiments of the people for their vote bank. He alleged that acts of PDP, NC and congress and other parties have played a major role in creating communal tension and disturbing peace and brotherhood in the state. Rao appealed to the peace loving people of the state to teach a lesson to these parties in the coming elections and vote to your own independent candidates of your own choice.
