Jammu | July 29
Shriomani Akali Dal Badal today said that entire Jammu region is reeling under tyranny of protest, bandhs and curfews. “The normal life has been thrown out of gear. The situation is tense, bazaars lanes and bylines are giving deserted looks. Vehicular traffic is off road and people are forced to stay in their houses, school, Colleges are closed and these are total shut down of trade and business. Pilgrim to Mata Vaishno Devi Ji and Shri Amarnath are also facing a lot of problems. All this has led to deferring solution to the real problem of Amarnath Shrine Board land,” the party said.
SAD (B) said it strongly feels that in a civilized society dialogue can lead to find an amicable solution. In this connection all saner elements, intelligentsia, prominent citizen should come forward to make the concerned parties to agree for the dialogue, the party added.
As per a press release SAD appealed the governor to invite the parties concerned for the discussion which now is not anybody else than the public.
Even the Union Govt should not remain mute spectator on this issue as when particularly it pertains to J-K state which has all along been treated as very sensitive state.
“We appeal the centre Govt to immediately intervene and get the issue sorted out without further loss of time.”
“SAD strongly condemn the atrocities of police on innocent people and mishandling the cremation of Kuldeep Kumar Dogra or even at Shardanjali Sammelen organized by Snagrash Samiti to pay homage to those who lost their lives in this agitation by imposing uncalled for curfew.”
