| I-Day arrangements finalized at Bhaderwah | | | Early Times Reporter
Bhaderwah | July 30
Arrangements for the celebration of Independence Day were finalized at a meeting held under the chairmanship of Sub Divisional Magistrate, Bhadarwah Kalyan Singh.
It was decided in the meeting that programme would start with Shehnai Vadan to be arranged by Tehsil Information Centre at dawn. The main function would be held at Higher Secondary School Boys where the VIP would hoist the National Flag and take salute from the contingents drawn from JKAP and students of various educational institutions. A cultural programme would also be presented on the occasion.
The arrangements of sitting, drinking water, medicare, sanitation, power supply and security would be made by the concerned departments.
The Sub-Divisional Magistrate has asked all departments to ensure their maximum participation along with their staff. He informed that the full dress rehearsal shall take place on August 13. |
