| Protest held against governor, withdrawl sought | | | Early Times Reporter
Jammu | July 30
A protest rally against the callous attitude of state governor N.N. Vohra over prevailing situation was taken out by the Jeevan Nagar unit of Sanatan Dharam Sabha this morning.
The rally led by Sham Choudhary, president, commenced after passing through Nai Basti. Ashok Gupta, district president, National Congress Party (NCP) was also the part of the rally.
The protestors were carrying the effigy of governor, which they torched at Satwari Chowk.
Speaking on the occasion, Sham Choudhary demanded the sacking of Vohra and held him responsible for the entire ruckus held in Jammu region. He said that governor had tried to shift the blame on SSP Jammu and attached them instead of pushing Inspector General of Police and Divisional Commissioner. |
