Sharma reviews progress of Horticulture technology in distt. Rajouri

Progress of Horticulture technology mission and the progress made under current rainy season plantation programme of district Rajouri were discussed in a Horticulture officers meeting, which was chaired by the Director Horticulture, J.L Sharma.
Sharma on the occasion directed all the field officers to take all the necessary measures to ensure proper implementation schemes so that the proper implementation of schemes so that poor farmers are benefited. He impressed upon the officers to adopt work culture and help farmers.
Bipan Lal Pandita, chief Horticulture Officer, Rajouri said that 468 hectare area is being brought under fruit plantation under technology mission, besides sq.mt area is being brought under low cost ploy green houses. He further said 44 No. of manual operated spray pumps and five No. of irrigation pumps shall be distributed among farmers under T.M, besides. More than 57 farmer’s awareness camps shall be organized under technology mission during the current year.
