| Live mortar shell recovered | | | Early Times Reporter

A live mortar shell of 80 mm was recovered in a Ranbir canal under Bakshi Nagar Pully near residence of ex health minister Mangat Ram Sharma by Bakshi Nagar police here today. Some people of the area saw the shell in the canal and informed the police and a police team led by SHO Bakshi Nagar Sanjeev Mahindru reached the spot. A bomb diffused squad was also informed who diffused the live shell. Later it was informed that the shell might have dropped by the security force and with the flow of the canal it was reached in Bakshi Nagar area. |
