Gautam Sen, an Indian Defence Accounts Service Officer of 1976 batch has taken over as Principal Controller of Defence Accounts of the Army's Northern Command at Jammu, yesterday.
Sen, was Financial Adviser in Army Headquarters with Ministry of Defence over past five years dealing with General Staff matters. The officer has wide experience in Civil and Defence Finance areas. The officer had a successful tenure with Ministry of Information and Broadcasting as Deputy Director General (Finance) of Doordarshan Network in the early 1990s. The last important post the officer held on Central Deputation was as Financial Advisor of North Eastern Council at Shillong dealing with infrastructure projects of the North Eastern States during 1997-2001. |
