| Channi residents association extend full support to SASS | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | July 31
Channi Himmat Residents Association in a meeting held under the chairmanship of its president Advocate V.K.Grover unanimously passed a resolution extending full support to the agitation launched by Shri Amar Nath Sangarsh Samiti for return of land to SASB. The members felt that the role played by the politicians and the Governor to cancel the diversion of land to Shrine Board in an illegal, unconstitutional and unauthorized manner has deeply hurt the religious and regional sentiments of Hindus in general and of Jammuites in particular. The association apart from extending unstinted support to the mass movement has also appealed to the Chairman of Samiti to always feel the presence of residents of this posh colony behind him. This association has resolved to offer full and any kind of physical, moral and financial support to the Sangarsh Samiti. It was also resolved that due warnings must be given to those persons and politicians who have started sneaking into the movement with an ulterior motive to sabotage it by giving statements against various constituents of the Sangarsh Samiti. They must bear in mind that this is a non-political body and every one in Jammu province from Lakhanpur to Banihal is emotionally and sentimentally attached with it. Association also appeals to youth not to be swayed by sentiments and perish their precious lives by committing suicides. Rather they should struggle to achieve cherished goal of securing snatched land and restoring prestige of this region. Among those present in the meeting were Raj Kumar Gupta, R. C. Sharma, R. C. Nanda, C .S .Sharma, Kuldeep Gupta, T. R. Gandotra, Ashok Rasgotra, Mohan Lal Gupta, Bashir Ahmed Dar, R. P. Gupta, B. R. Abrol, Lenin Kundu, Dr.V .S. Charak, S .P .Sharma, Verinder Gupta, Harish Gupta, P .S. Mastana, Pardeep Gupta, R .P. Mangotra, B.M. Gandotra and several others. |
