| Notification for Kargil Hill Council election issued | | | Early Times Reporter

The Government has notified the election schedule for holding the 2nd General Election for Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil.
According to a notification issued here today, the date for making nomination has been fixed for August 4 while the last date for nomination will be August 11. The scrutiny would take place on August 12 and last date for withdrawal of nomination papers would be August 14. Polling would be held on August 30. The date for counting is September 5 while as the process of election will be completed on September 10, 2008.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kargil has been appointed as Election Officer of the LAHDC, Kargil General Elections under the said notification. |
