| EC extends date for issuance of EPICs | | | Early Times Reporter

The Election Commission of India has extended the date for issuance of Electors Photo Identity Cards (EPICs) from July 28 to August 9, 2008 in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to the Chief Electoral officer, Jammu and Kashmir B. R. Sharma all the electors of the State have been informed to approach the concerned booth level officers appointed by the District Election Officer (Deputy Commissioner). In case of any complaint or problem the electors can contact Electoral Registration Officer (Assistant Commissioner (Revenue) / Joint Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation / Secretary, Srinagar Municipal Corporation / Joint Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation) and Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (Tehsildar / Chief Khilafwarzi Officer, Assistant Secretary (P) and Chief Revenue Officer of Srinagar Municipal Corporation / Secretary, Jammu Municipal Corporation). |
