Jammu | July 31

Revocation of land transfer to Amarnath Shrine Board has clearly exposed the connivance of Government of India with communal forces in Kashmir.
People of Jammu can now very well understand the reasons of the continuous discrimination meted out to them. If Government of India cannot prevail upon the Valley leadership, so called mainstream and separatists, to give up their opposition to a ‘temporary’ land transfer for ‘temporary’ facilities for Hindu pilgrims, how it can correct imbalances in employment, legislative bodies and developmental process in Jammu, say Jammu Tigers, a newly formed outfit.
The agitation for restoration of land to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board is basically a people’s movement against discrimination on basis of faith and region; the newly front said and observed that the current agitation needs energetic, selfless people who are not guided by vested interests. It needs leaders who could lead the people without electoral consideration and are ready to sacrifice, the Jammu Tigers maintained.
Jammu Tigers is an effort to provide pure, selfless and energetic cadres and leaders for the cause of Jammu and ending discriminatory policies of the state and central government. Kashmiri leaders’ support to the revocation of land transfer is a big ‘No’ to values of co-existence and secularism, the Tigers said and reaffirmed that it would stand against this exclusivist attitude of Kashmiri leaders and steer the peoples’ movement to success.
We warn government of further intensification of this people’s movement at all levels if the demand for return of land to SASB and recall of Governor is not met by the Government of India at the earliest.
We also convey our resolve to people of Jammu that anybody who joins Jammu Tigers will not contest the next Assembly elections and will fully dedicate for the success of the present agitation.
Jammu Tigers, However, feel saddened by the eagerness of Sangharsh Samiti to hold talks with the Governor, the real culprit in the present turmoil, and giving Governor a safe passage for continuance in the office.
Jammu Tigers is not fully agreeing to the contention of the Sangharsh Samiti to hold talks with the Governor, as one of the main demands of Samiti has been recall of NN Vohra.
Jammu Tigers pay tributes to the martyrs Kuldeep Dogra(Verma), Manjeet Singh, Ramesh Kumar for their supreme sacrifice and salute the lakhs of agitators including women, children, old and infirm who are participating in the mass movement to defeat the anti-national elements and their supporters.
We also convey our regards to Munish Singh, Kamaljeet Singh Choudhary who tried to emulate Shaheed Kuldeep Dogra to destroy our inaction and procrastination.
A new energy and spirit is flowing in Jammu and it will surely lead all of us to our desired goals, the Jammu Tigers felt.
