JAMMU, May 30: Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Youth Congress (JKPYC) accused Central Government and Government of Union Territory Jammu & Kashmir for looting innocent people of J&K on daily basis.
Led by State General Secretary and Incharge Jammu Urban JKPYC, Nimrandeep Singh Bhullar, District Youth Congress Jammu Urban President Rahul Tandon along with JKPYC secretaries Brinder Partap Singh and Divyansh Singh Jamwal organized a silent protest outside Congress office Jammu on installing one lakh fifteen thousand smart electric meters connections out of which 80000 for Jammu and 35000 for Kashmir and the surcharge imposed by JKUT on petrol & diesel during lockdown period of Covid-19.
While speaking, Nimrandeep Singh Bhullar has expressed strong resentment on the policies laid by centre government and by the administration of Jammu & Kashmir for the innocent people of J&K.
Singh said J&K produced enough energy for their people and if the people of J&K will be looted by such private players on daily basis, then Youth Congress will come on roads for the rights of their people.
Singh warned and strongly opposed surcharge imposed on the petrol & diesel. He said country is fighting against Covid-19 and administration is busy in making anti-people policies. Singh demanded to roll back the decisions of installation of these smart meters and surcharge imposed on fuel.
Youth leaders exercised their democratic right by wearing black ribbons for opposing power sector privatization proposal.
