A twelfth class student committed suicide by shooting himself for the want of a mobile phone here today.The deceased identified as Sunil Kumar,a student of twelfth class, s/o Brij Lal r/o Galote,Doda demanded for an expensive mobile phone which was refuted by his parents and today in a fit of emotions he managed a gun from his uncle who happens to be a member of VDC and fired three shots towards himself resulting his on spot death. “He had adamancy of an expensive phone which we did not afford though we promised him to give him if he secured good marks in the twelfth class examination”, wailing father of the deceased said. He was taken to district hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead.Where as police has registered a case in this regard and investigating the matter. |
