| 10 newly inducted DRDO scientists embrace Tigers Division | | | Early Times Reporter

Ten newly inducted DRDO scientists were embraced in the folds of Tiger Division since July 21. The service level interaction aimed at bridging the gap between armaments based technology and the highly motivated jawans manning the borders and actively deployed in counter insurgency areas.
During the 12 days visit these scientists had the rarest and unique opportunity of personal interaction with troops deployed in far flung conditions in Jammu region. The scientists also had the maximum exposure to armament and technology based surveillance, communication and specialized engineering equipments.
During his personal interaction, Maj Gen DL Chowdhary, GOC, Tiger Division reiterated that research and development in the field of armament has steadily risen over the decade. He further assured that the plethora of newly inducted equipment has enhanced the cutting edge of the Tiger Division. The GOC also motivated the scientists to enhance the threshold in research and development towards further refinement in technological enhancement of existing specialized equipment and armament held by the Armed Forces. |
