| PDP holds Azad responsible for volatile situation | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Aug 1
A meeting of the senior leaders, executive members and youth wing of the Peoples Democratic Party was held today at party headquarters Gandhi Nagar to assess prevailing law and order situation in Jammu region. Party leaders while speaking on the occasion shifted all blames on Congress and said that former Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad was the real culprit as his unholy nexus with National Conference has created prevailing situation. Speakers further pointed out that instead of creating conducive atmosphere for solving the issue, Azad was more particular to oust PDP from the coalition to further designs of National Conference. Cautioning the people of Jammu against Congress and National Conference, the PDP leaders and said that Azad was main culprit for present situation. Meeting also expressed its concern over deteriorating law and order situation in Jammu region and appealed to the people to maintain communal harmony and brotherhood. People of Jammu have always exhibited vision and communal harmony the meeting observed and appealed the people to frustrate designs of those communal forces which have been trying to take political benefit of the present situation. Ved Mahajan, Daman Bhasin, Shanti Devi, M S Tariq, Master Tassadiq Hussain, Falail Singh, R K Bali, Baldev Slathia, Ashiq Hussain, Raj Kumar and Sunita Bangotra addressed the meeting. |
