A wide protest held at Channi Himmat area in which people large in number took participation. The protest was led by corporater Channi Himmat Parveen Gupta. Speaking on the occasion Gupta said that the residents of the locality has extended full support to the Amarnath Sangarsh Samiti.He also condemned the police brutalities on the protestors. Where as youths of the area burnt tyres in order to lodge their resent over the land transfer issue. They also sat on fast onto death. Speaking on the occasion Sham Sunder Singh said that the agitation will continue till the land was not restored. |
