Chairman of Amarnath Sangarsh Samiti today visited Channi Himmat Housing Colony and addressed the Executive Committee of the Channi Himmat Residents Association(Regd.). He was accompanied by Romesh Pappa and other leaders of SASS.
While welcoming the Samiti leaders the President of Association Advocate V.K.Grover assured Leela Karan their full physical, moral and financial support to achieve the cherished goal of securing back land of Baltal which has been illegally and unconstitutionally handed over to the government by the governor N.N.Vohra as Chairman of Amarnath Shrine Board without first even holding a formal meeting of the board. This has hurt not only the sentiments of entire Hindu community but sent a warning signal to entire nation of government interference in their religions against the spirit of constitution. Grover criticized the administration for its repressive policies to curb the voice of people and that of Media which is fourth important pillar of democracy.
General Secretary of the Association Raj Kumar Gupta cautioned Samiti members of dangers to sabotage the movement by some anti-national elements who are looking for an opportunity to sneak into it and cause harm at this crucial stage.
Leela Karan while addressing the gathering reiterated that this has become a Mass Movement with involvement of persons from the age of 5 to 90 years and it is very difficult to stop it now. He further inspired the members of the association to spread a message of attachment and contribution to everyone who comes in their contact by personally taking part in the agitation, inspiring the others to do it and even writing letters to the Editors. Every one must put his or her AHUTI in this pious YAGYA, Advocate Leela Karan said.
Among the participants were S/ Vice-President R.C.Sharma, R.C.Nanda, Dr.V.S.Charak, Padha, Vijay Punjabi, Former Vice-President C.S.Sharma, Lalit Gupta, Lenin Kundu, B.R.Abrol, Kuldeep Gupta, Mohan L.Gupta, B.M.Gandotra, Ashok Rasgotra, T.R.Gandotra and others
