Minor girl allegedly raped by father

UDHAMPUR, June 24: A 14 year old minor girl was allegedly raped by her father in village Chapper, tehsil Latti of district Udhampur.
Police have registered a case under FIR No 03 /2020 under section 376/IPC and POCSO Act 4 after a written complaint was lodged by the mother of 14 year old minor rape victim.
In her complaint the mother of 14 year old victim said that 8 days ago her husband namely Lakh Raj, son of Bejian took her daughter name withheld to river Tawi on the pretext of bringing sand, where he committed rape on his own daughter.
The victim’s mother further said that when her daughter came back home she narrated to her that her father committed rape on her, adding that on June 21 he again took his daughter to river Tawi and raped her once more.
On the bases of the report case under FIR No 03 /2020 U/S 376/IPC and POSCO Act 4 has been registered and investigation of the case was entrusted to ASI Fardous Ahmed for further investigation.
