| Bhim on fast unto death, gets his nails trimmed | | | Early Times Reporter

The Panthers Party supremo, Pof. Bhim Singh, who is on fast unto death in support of restoration of land to the Amarnath Shrine Board, since yesterday utilized his leisure in getting his long nails trimmed. He had summoned a barber who had to come on foot today from Satwari for trimming Bhim's long nails on his toes.
When the barber was contacted outside the venue where Bhim Singh has been on the fast for his comments he said "I had to use four blades to trim the nail, rugged and rough toe nails of Bhim Singh." He said he seemed to have grown weak because he had not taken anything during the last 30 hours.
The barber missed sense of humour as he could feel that Bhim Singh wore a grim face because of his anger against the revocation of land order. In a statement Bhim Singh has called upon people to remain united because history was knocking at their doors. He said "we have to stand up and fight peacefully for the restoration of land to the shrine Board and that too without fomenting any communal divide." |
