Lok Jan Shakti Party today distributed relief materials, ration and other essentials among the needy people. The party has also arranged a free langar which will remain open till the curfew continues. This was stated by the State President Lok Jan Shakti Party, Rafiq Malik here today. He condemned the statements of the some Kashmir based leaders that Jammu Muslim minorities have been attacked by Hindus in Jammu. He lambasted the Kashmiri leaders for giving such baseless statements. He cleared that the people of Jammu are very cooperative and they are helping us in all ways. He also condemned the PDP, Congress and NC leaders for putting fuel on the agitation. Adding to this he stated that perfect communal understanding and brotherhood prevails all over Jammu region even at this hour of turmoil adding that the anti India and religious fundamentalist elements in Kashmir are leaving no stone unturned to provoke communal passions, by raising a wolf cry of Muslims in Jammu being targeted by the demonstrators or feeling insecure in anyway. He said that perfect communal amity and brotherhood prevails in Jammu and that Muslims at large are feeling totally secure even in overwhelming Hindu majority areas is amply evident from the fact that even Kashmiri Muslims who are staying put in Talab Khatikian locality in the heart of the city are fully in relaxed mood and number of Hindu community members mix up with them. He said that his party is with the people of Jammu regarding the issue of transfer of land to SASB. He also appealed to the people to maintain communal harmony. |
