| PSA condemn teargas shelling at director’s residence | | | Early Times Reporter

Programme Staff Association (PSA) of All India Radio and Doordarshan condemned the unprovoked tear gas shelling at residence of the station Director, Radio Kashmir, Jammu Dr. K.C Dubey, who is also holding charge of Director Doordarshan Kendra.
The administrative action is highly reprehensive and unwanted. It seems to be an attempt to muzzle the creative independence of an institutional medium like Radio & Doordarshan which always upheld the cause of public.
Radio Kashmir, Jammu also vehemently condemned the manner in which the essential duty staff like announcers, duty officers, engineers & programme staff was harassed and their movement un-necessarily curbed.
The association also condemns the action of the administration to curb the freedom of the press and other broadcasting agencies leading to the attacks on journalists and field staff covering the ongoing agitation in Jammu. |
