| BJP distributes essential commodities | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Aug 6
Led by Ward President Suresh Kumar, activists of Lower Janipur BJP today distributed about 100 bags of atta among the poor families of the area. BJP State treasurer Sat Sharma (C.A.), alongwith other activists of the party reached the Ward to be a part of this social cause. Pertinent to be mentioned here that the poor families of the ward had been facing acute shortage of ration items due to the continuous bandh and imposition of the curfew in Jammu. Majority of the population of the ward belongs to the daily working class and their daily earnings is the only source of their survival. Sat Sharma, on this occasion, expressed thankfulness to the members of the ward for coming forward for the help of the poor and needy. He urged the people to follow the same and ensure that the poor families living in their respective areas do not face shortage of food items in these days of bandh and curfew. Balbir Ram, Parduman Singh, Raj Kumar,Sanjiv Gupta, Munish Kumar, Ramnik Gupta, Shusha, Rajeshwar, Bharat Bhushan and Vijay Kumar were prominent among those who took part in this social cause. |
