PK flays statements of Kashmir based leaders

Panun Kashmir (PK) took a serious note of the deliberate and mischievous false propaganda of certain Kashmir based leaders about the ongoing agitation in Jammu. In an emergency executive meeting chaired by Dr.Agnishekhar and other members, serious exception was taken to the utterances of Mehbooba Mufti, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Sajjad Lone and their ilk, that the agitation in Jammu is communal in nature and against a particular community is completely false. The propagation of secularism by people whose hands are soaked in the blood and are responsible for the pogrom and exodus of lakhs of Kashmiri Hindus is highly condemnable. The statements of Mehbooba that they are creating a Palestine in Jammu and losing Kashmir for 800 kanals of land is clearly a blackmailing tactic and Kashmiri Hindus can see through these tactics, being the direct victims of Muslim fundamentalism. Panun Kashmir strongly condemns the false reports appearing in a section of the press that Kashmiri Pandits harassed Muslims and targeted a mosque in Subhash Nagar area of Jammu. The latest statement of the President of the Muslim Federation Jammu that the ongoing agitation is completely secular in nature should serve as an eye opener to these leaders.
Party also condemns the Prime Minister for not calling the Amarnath Sangharsh Samiti to the all-party meeting. It is the people of Jammu led by the Sangharsh Samiti that is spearheading the movement for the revocation of the sacred Amarnath lands and Govt. is calling a set of Kashmir politicians who are openly inimical to the interests of Jammu and are giving statements that excite the passions of the people. We would have appreciated if these politicians would educate the masses in Kashmir about the correct position of Amarnath land instead of fanning communalism and talking about opening of Muzzafarabad route to Pakistan for transporting of Kashmiri apple. Members took strong exception to the activities of certain self styled leaders in the community who are reportedly engaged in damaging the cause of the community. The present scenario in the state has once again vindicated the stand of Panun Kashmir for the establishment of a separate homeland on the north east of river Jhelum with union territory status, free flow of Indian constitution and strong Jammu at its back. Sh.Daya Kishen Koul, Sanjay Dattattrya general Secretary, Pran Koul, vinod Koul, Bal Ji, Sudesh Dhar, Shiban Ji, Ashutosh, S.L.Bakshi, Neelam Koul, C.P.Koul, Sanjay Koul, Suresh kokroo and Virender Raina, attended the meeting among others.
