Spiritual leader Ravi Shankar has urged the people of Jammu to stop the violent protests. Assuring that their demands will be met, Shankar said that his interactions with the people in Kashmir valley are yielding positive responses, "Things are proceeding in the right direction," he said in a statement urging the people of Jammu to have patience.
