JURSEA and JSSM took out a protest rally in the Jammu university campus here today. The rally was led by Vikas sharma President JURSEA & Lovejit singh jimmy Chairman of JSSM. The protestors later burnt the effigy of PDP President & ISI agent. Mahbuba Mufti at outside of the main gate of university of jammu.
Addersing the gathering president JURSEA.Vikas sharma strongly condemned the unprovoked firing by the police on the peaceful demonstration at palli mohra Kathua in which one youth were killed and several others seriously injured and demanded CBI enquire into killing of the youth at Kathua.
He also criticized the Nagrota incidents where the forcibly JKP COPS entered into residential houses yesterday and thrashed innocent old women, childern and youth without any reason.
lovejit singh jimmy Chairman JSSM also asked the state administration to provide ex-gratia relief of Rs25 lakh and govt. job to the family member of victims who have lost their lives in the ongoing agitation.
He further demanded that curfew should be lifted from all region of jammu and Governor N N Vohra be recalled to mitigate the ongoing violence in the jammu province.
He also condemned the attack on media persons and blockade of SMS services in the state. The Association also resolved that it will fully support to SASB till the land is not handed over to the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board.
Among those who attended the protest included Vishal pathania, Dharampal, Roshan, Ajay Talur, Tailk Raj Goswami, Bhanu, Dilu Singh and others. |
