Police on Thursday arrested the main accused involved in the grenade attack at a Banihal bus stand on July 18 in which 31 persons, including several CRPF jawans, were injured, official sources said.
Acting on a tip off, police raided a place in Banihal area of Ramban district and arrested Nazir Ahmed, the sources said.
Ahmed was the main accused in the grenade attack on a CRPF vehicle at the Banihal bus stand on July 18, in which 31 persons including 7 CRPF men sustained injuries, they said.
The accused has been sent to the Joint Interrogation Centre for further probe. |
