UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 07 - The Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur, Mr. O. P. Kalandria has issued appointment orders under SRO-43in favour of 16 next of kin’s of the persons killed in the militancy related incidents in district Udhampur particularly hailing from Basantgarh, Mahore and Gool.
The beneficiaries in whose favour appointment orders have been issued include Mr. Jamil Hussain s/o Mohd. Shafi, Kewal Kumar s/o Dina Nath, Om Prakash s/o Diou, Romesh Kumar s/o Phambi Ram, Lekh Raj s/o Sham Lal, all residents of Basantgarh, tehsil Ramnagar; Jamal Din s/o late Mohd. Ramzan of Dheda, Smt. Sakeena Begum w/o late Jamal Din of Dalwa, Gulzar Ahmed s/o Mohd. Sultan Malik of Dharam, Kirpal Singh s/o Bhagat Ram of Chchawa, Mohd. Sharief s/oGulbhar Shah of Sildhar, Mohd. Hussain s/o Noor Jamal of Banna, Jagdev Singh s/o Sarban of Thiloo, Shabir Ahmed s/o Qasam Ali of Thuroo, Smt Mumtaz Begum w/o late Gulzar Ahmed of Thuroo, tehsil Mahore, Smt. Ambo wd/o late Rattan Lal of Satyalta, tehsil Chenani and Smt. Anuradha wd/o late Rajneesh Kumar Sharma of Ward No.5, Jawahar Nagar, Udhampur.
According to Deputy Commissioner, there are 122 such cases in his office out of which 16 mentioned above have been approved for appointment while 312 cases sent to General Administration Department for relaxation of rules, seven cases are pending with Sub-Divisional Magistrates and Tehsildars, 20 cases are pending for want of involvement and non-involvement certificate from SSP’s of Ramban, Reasi and 48 cases have been rejected as those were not covered under rules.
The Deputy Commissioner has further directed the Tehsildars concerned to inform the beneficiaries living in remote and far-flung areas of the district to collect their appointment orders from the office of Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur on September 18, 2006. |
