All Party Migrant Coordination Committee (APMCC) Chairman Vinod Pandit has strongly condemned the beating up of non-Kashmiri labourers last night at Sarnal in Anantnag forcing a fresh migration of the laboruers from Valley today morning.
In a statement issued here after the Executive Council meet of APMCC Vinod Pandit said that Muslim fundamentalists made repeated announcements from a local mosque yesterday asking Non-Kashmiri labourers to leave immediately from the Valley threatening them of dire consequences if they do not leave within a day.
Vinod said that the fresh migration of outside laboruers from Valley was glaring example of the double speak of Kashmiri separatist and so called mainstream leadership who allege harassment of Muslims in Jammu.
Vinod said that minorities were feeling insecure in Kashmir and demanded immediate security cover to those living in Valley.
Vinod has demanded an explanation from Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Mehbooba Mufti who claim to be secularists before the national media but practice rabid communalism in Valley.
He asked the national media to understand the game plan of Kashmiri fundamentalists saying while they allege harassment to Muslims in Jammu it were the Hindus in Kashmir Valley who were bearing the brunt of Muslim fundamentalists.
Castigating the statements of Mirwaiz and Mehbooba of seceding from Indian after giving 2-1/2 districts to Jammu he said that such anti-national statements by an MP and a Muslim leader from Valley have exposed the real intentions of the Kashmiri leadership.
He said that Mirwaiz and Mehbooba must not forget that the Kashmir Valley actually belongs to Kashmiri Pandits and not to Mirwaiz or Mehbooba which is known to all.
Vinod said that while the whole Kashmiri leadership was crying foul of economic blockade by people of Jammu no body had the guts to condemn the large scale encroachment of Kashmiri Pandits land and temples by politicians and bureaucrats in Valley for the last twenty years while mere 800 kanals of land was being blown out of proportion as if entire Kashmir was being grabbed.
Vinod asked leaders like Tarigami and Mehbooba to either declare openly of being rabid communalists or play constructive role of responsible citizens adding while one belongs to a national party totally against communalism another was a member of Indian Parliament.
Meanwhile Vinod Pandit has reiterated his organization’s whole hearted support to Sangarsh Samiti for restoration of land to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board and complimented it for its resolve to achieve the desired goal.
Those who attended the meet included Arun Kandhru, Sanjay Raina, Bharat Bhushan, JN Raina and Ravinder Pandita.
