The executive members of J&K Milchar Front have strongly condemned the attitude of central govt’s towards Jammuites. Addressing the meeting of members front general secretary K.K. Rao said by not inviting Amarnath Sangarsh Samiti for talks is a great blunder on part of central govt, as Sangarsh Samiti is the only forum fighting for the cause of Jammu region. Rao said firing on peaceful protestors by the security forces is a complete violation of human rights and asked the state administration to ensure no human lioves are lost. He along with president of All India Kissan Sabha Dr. G.S. Charak, vice president Awami Jan Shakti Party, Om Raj Bhalla appealed president of India to intervine in the matter and save the lives of un-armed peaceful agitators of Jammu. Leaders also urged the president to recall Governor N.N Vohra as this is the main demand of people who failed to handle the state affairs. They further said that the present turmoil in Jammu province is not a reaction against the revoking of land allotment to SASB but also against the injustice that has been done to Jammu region since independence. The sufferer is a Jammuities, irrespective of caste, creed and religion. That’s why all Muslim organization have supported the Jammu bandh. Jammuities have maintained communal harmony and we appeal that they should do so hence forward also. The president of Baba Amarnath Sangarsh Samiti, Sh. Leela Karan Sharma does not belong to any political party and has been elected with common consent of all sections of society irrespective of religion or region, they said. |
