Varinder Jeet Singh, chairman of National Sikh Front and member of Shri Amarnath Sangarsh Samiti expresses his grief on the non selection of a Sikh as a advisor by the governor.
As per a release, National Sikh Front has demanded that a Sikh should be appointed as an advisor on the ground that Sikhs have many problems in the state that a Sikh advisor alone can highlight and take into the consideration of the governor.
The three advisors appointed by the governor are former chief secretaries of the state. Sikhs also have been former chief secretary of the state and we demand and appeal this to the prime minister, the home minister and the governor to take a Sikh advisor, the release added.
