| J&K golf team defeats parliamentarians’ team | | | SRINAGAR, SEPTEMBER 07 -
J&K golf team lifted the tournament by scoring 31.13 points defeating parliamentarians’ team which scored 30.2 points.
Governor Lt. Gen. (Retd) S. K. Sinha speaking at the prize distribution function of GK invitational golf tournament 2006 here today emphasized for encouraging all activities which are fruitful for attracting tourists to the valley.
Governor also gave away award to Mr. N. Sandhu for scoring maximum five birdies. In individual prizes, Mr. Dinesh Trivedi got first prize followed by Mr. Ghalib M. Shah getting prize for being first runner up and Mr. Anil Goswami second runner up.
Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad received the prize on behalf of the winning Jammu and Kashmir team while Mr. Dinesh Trivedi took the award as a captain of the parliamentarians’ team.
