| Protest rally held at outside Gharu’s house | | | Early Times Reporter

A strong protest rally was organized by former Congress leader Inder Sudan outside the house of ex Minister Ch. Gharu Ram wherein the protestors shouted slogans against him. Speaking on the occasions Sudan said these people have always ignored Jammu people. He said leaders of congress, NC and PDP are playing with the sentiments of Hindus and added the land be handed over to Amarnath Sangrash Samiti immediately. Municipal councilor Smt. Rittu Sudan also spoke on the occasion and appealed the people to maintain communal harmony at all level.
Protestors led by Kundan Pahalwan of Bajrang Dal defying curfew burning the effigy of administration and demanded that the land be transferred back to Sangrash Samiti.
R.S. Chib a senior congress leaders today visited a number of villages and appealed people remain calm and support the agitation in a peaceful manner. |
