Azad convenes special cabinet meeting on Friday to review flood situation

Srinagar, September 07 - Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad has convened another special cabinet meeting here tomorrow to review flood situation in the state.
Ministers given assignments of various districts to monitor the flood situation and rescue and relief measures are likely to submit the reports.
It may be recalled that Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Mr. Mohammad Dilawar Mir, Power Minister Mr. Nawang Rigzin Jora and Minister for Housing and Urban Development Mr. Tariq Hameed Karra have been given the assignment by Chief Minister to monitor Srinagar district. Likewise, Agriculture Minister Mr Abdul Aziz Zargar, Minister for School Education Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed and Minister of State for Power and Health Peer Mohammad Hussain are monitoring the flood situation and rescue and relief measures in Anantnag while as Forest Minister Qazi Mohammad Afzal and Minister of State for Roads and Buildings Mr. Mohammad Khalil Band are monitoring the situation in Pulwama.
Similarly, Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumers Affairs Mr. Taj Mohi-ud-Din and Social Welfare Minister Haji Nissar Ali are dealing with the flood situation in Baramulla while Transport Minister Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen and Minister of State for Rural Department Mr. Javid Mustafa Mir are looking after the situation in Budgam.
Health and Medical Education Minister Mr. Mangat Ram Sharma is looking after the flood situation in Jammu city while as Minister for Roads and Buildings Mr. Gulchain Singh Charak and Minister for Rural Development Mr. Jugal Kishore are incharge of Akhnoor.
