| GDC Vijaypur conducts online survey | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 24: An online survey was conducted by Government Degree College Vijaypur.
Over 100 faculty members from various Colleges and Universities of Jammu division participated in the survey and rendered their insightful observations on the matter.
The survey was focused on how the online education has become the essential component of education today. The online education helps in controlling the learning environment and in developing the deeper understanding of the course by providing the students with varied opportunities to fashion their education into something that fits them, not the other way round. But, unfortunately this year Covid-19 pandemic has totally changed the dynamics of the world and education sector remained one of the worst hit segments throughout the globe.
The survey came up with many suggestions like; motivating students and educators to take online classes seriously; training teacher educators to carry on the online mode of education effectively; availability of smart classes in all the colleges of higher education; involvement of parents in the learning of their ward so that they can keep an eye on their wards and provide the conducive environment for learning; providing compulsory basic knowledge of computer skills to the students; and moreover the regular feedback should be taken from students regarding the pros. and cons of online education. |
