Jammu, July 24: A long pending demand of Jammuties and especially from Sikh Communities in regards with installation of Statute of Baba Banda Singh ji Bhadur a great Sikh warrior at Kunjwani Chowk Jammu fulfilled with the dedicated efforts of JMC Mayor, Dy. Mayor & All Councillors Passed by the general house of JMC which was resolved on 28/2/2020 and 29/2/2020 Presented by S.Inder Singh Soodan Councillor of Ward No.44 vide JMC/EStt/S/554.58 dated 8/6/2020 for consideration and approved on 20/7/20 vide order no.JMC/8/ 884---87
The people of Jammu got a sigh of relief and enjoyed sweets each others on hearing of this good news.
Please note that he was the Baba Banda Singh Bahadur who established the 1st Sikh raj after invading the Sirhind by defeating and eliminating Wajid Khan of Suba Sirhind and with this victory he has taken revenge of Chhote Sahibzaade of Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji.
That the second good news for us is That Baba Banda Singh Bahadur was a state Subject who originaly belongs to Distt. Rajouri of J&K he was Bipasite by Guru Gobind Singh ji and fought many a battle with the blessing of Guru Gobind Singh Ji.
