After Udhampur city now administration imposed curfew in Kambel Danga , Jib and Majalta villages of district to restrict movement of Snagresh Samiti who daily took out huge rallies in these villages Peaceful protests were, however, held in the different localities of Udhampur city and its adjoining areas which include Main Bazaar, Adarsh Colony, Sallain Tallab, Chabutra Bazaar, Shiv Nagar, Bharat Nagar, and Cherri Sallian areas where people defy curfew and held massive demonstrations demanding restoration of Amarnath Shrine Board land region where "Meanwhile district administration has lifted curfew in city from 11.00 AM to 1:00 Pm today. Agitating protesters burnt the effigies of Governor , PDP leader Mehbooba Mufti were strongly criticizing state and centre government for adopting oppressive measures to crush the ongoing agitation in the Jammu province.Protesters, including women, children and elderly people, demanded restoration of land to the Amarnath Shrine Board. Speaking on the occasion District convenor Sangresh Samiti Vikram Singh Slathia criticized centre government for its appeasement policy towards Kashmir is . He added that centre has nothing to do with Jammu ties aspirations or problems and the team only came here to Give Compensation to Kashmir fruit growers . He also condemned the attitude of Mehboob aMufti who has acceded her party hand in support of Huriiyat towards its stand to cross loc which has exposed party on all fronts . Slathia appeal youths and peoples of Udhampur to be reday for final decisive battle with government so that coming generation could get rid of Kashmir domination which area is facing from last sixty years Meanwhile Udhampur Bar President Suriender Khjauria has strongly condemned the threat being given to jammu based Judges serving at valley by some miscreants and separatist forces . He demanded action against those involved in it and has demanded fool proof security measures for judges . |
