| Al-Badr commander killed in encounter with army | | | Early Times Reporter

The self-styled battalion commander of Al-Badr militant outfit Mohammad Sultan Bhat has been killed in a shootout with the army in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Bhat, who was shot dead in the encounter at Rangawali area yesterday, had been active for more than a decade and was involved in the killing of six civilians, a police spokesman said today.
Two civilians were also killed in the crossfire. |
