| Ahead of I-Day 3 Kg RDX recovered | | | Early Times Reporter

Ahead of Independence day security forces claimed to have averted a major tragedy ahead of I-Day celebrations in Jammu and Kashmir by recovering RDX type material weighing 3 Kg. and 600 grams from Chawa-Chadne forests in Majalata area of Udhampur, this morning.
Defence spokesman Lt Col SD Goswami told News Agency of Kashmir that on specific information Police and troops of 194 Medium Regiment launched a joint search operation and recovered 3 Kg. and 600 grams RDX type material.
With this recovery, a major tragedy has been averted and the police and the security forces have become more alert in view of the ensuing Independence Day. |
