Restore land to SASB demands KSS

Kashmiri Sahayak Sabha in an emergent meeting held today at Kashmir Bhawan, Chandigarh, while condemning the withdrawal of land allotted to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board for temporary transit facilities to yatris has expressed solidarity with peaceful protests in Jammu.
The meeting decided that if the land was not restored within a reasonable period, senior leaders of the Sabha would sit on "fast unto death dharna".
President of the Sabha, Tej K. Magazine exposed the double standards of J&K Governor, NN Vohra for issuing "shoot at sight" orders against protesters in Jammu, while going soft against the agitators in Kashmir valley.
The meeting, further condemned the undemocratic restrictions imposed on media, prohibiting the coverage of troubled areas in Jammu.
The Sabha has emphasized upon the J&K Government. to restore the land immediately to the Shrine Board and ensure peace, communal harmony, stability and economic development in the State.
