| Panthers’ women cell continue hunger strike | | | Early Times Reporter

In support of “Fast Unto Death” resorted to the JKNPP Chief Prof Bhim Singh to seek justice for return of land to Shrine Board the Panthers Women Wing under the leadership of Anita Thakur, State General Secretary accompanied by Sunita Randhawa Suchetgarh, Nirmala Sharma (Asha) Block President Women Wing Suchetgarh, Kailasho Devi, Koushalya Devi, Rajni Devi, Sudesh Kumari, Rachana Sharam and the children Arjun Dev Sharma and baby Indu Sharma a Ist primary student launched hunger strike today outside the Party Headquarters. They were demanding early restoration of land to SASB and ending age old discrimination against Jammu.
Meanwhile Prof. Bhim Singh Patron has appointed Manju Singh and Sunita Randhawa of Suchetgarh as State Secretaries of Women Empowerment Wing.
Another batch of the relay hunger strikers led by Party State General Secretary and former Minister Yashpal Kundal observed hunger strike today near the Party Headquarters. Ashok Kumar State Secretary Young Panthers and Balram Kundal also joined them.
Speaking on the occasion Kundal asked the Governor to immediately issue ordinance for the restoration of land to the SASB and end the stalemate on the issue. He also expressed concern over the deteriorating health of party Chairman Prof. Bhim Singh whose fast unto death entered 7th day today. They relieved the earlier batch of hunger strikers comprising P. K. Ganjoo, Vice-President, S. Amarjeet Singh and Ravi Kumar. |
