| AMWS distribute food material | | | Early Times Reporter

Afghana Mohalla Welfare Society (AMWS) distributed food material including atta, dal, ghee and salt to the needy and deserving people of the mohalla who were unable to earn their livelihood because of imposition of the curfew.
The members of the AWMS also disclosed that the society has also decided to contribute towards the shaheedi fund raised by the Shri Amarnath Yatra Sangarsh Samiti.
Those present on the occasion were Ashok Sahni, president, Nasir Ahmed vice- president, B.N Dubey, Gen. Secretary, Dr. sardari Lal Saghotra, Secretary, Mohan Lal Chowhan, office Secretary, Rakesh Mengi, Cashier, and Shastri Patron.
Dr. Salghotra wished that the normalcy be restored Jammu shortly by allotting the land to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board soon. He realized that the people who were against this decision should realize that the Yatries for Amarnath piligrimages were out guest and we cannot accommodate them in our homes for temperory. |
