| Pallam Raju felicitates NCC cades ahead of Independence Day | | | Early Times Reporter

The Minister of State for Defence Shri MM Pallam Raju today felicitated NCC cadets who would participate in the 62nd Independence Day function at the Red Fort. In his brief address to the cadets Shri Pallam Raju commended the children for their patriotism, zeal and excitement. He hoped that the cadets, who represent the India of the future, would keep the tri-colour flying high and safeguard the hard fought freedom. The Minister appreciated the cadets for their turnout, braving sweating heat and humidity.
Shri Pallam Raju presented wrist watches as a memento to the cadets, on the occasion. He called upon the cadets to flaunt their mementos on Friday when the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh unfurls the flag from the ramparts of the Red Fort. |
