A protest demonstration was held against the tehsil administration by the villagers of Gund Tethar demanding to construct a new toilet near the mosque.
As per reports, a toilet was functioning there from the last 10 years but due to some political interference the toilet was demolished by the local administration as it was creating disturbances to the leaders residing near the mosque.
Demonstrators also held a march from Telhar to Banihal town and held a protest against the Tehsildar.
Villagers demanded Divisional Commissioner Jammu and District Development Commissiner Ramban to take necesssry action towards welfare otherwise there demonstration will be continued. |
