Senior Congress leader and former minister Mangat ram Sharma has described the visit of the central team of all parties to the state as a fruitful exercise and hoped that the issue of ongoing agitation would be resolved amicable through dialogue, while keeping in mind the religious sentiments of the people of the region. Referring to the positive attitude of the central govt and the prime minister for intervening into the prevailing situation by the deputation of all party team to the state headed by the Home Minister Shiv Raj Patil, Sharma hailed these initiatives of the centre for convening an all party meet and there after sending a central team to the state for resolving issue through consequences and dialogue. Sharma hoped that the sentiments and religious feelings of the people attached to the ongoing issue, will be taken due care and the issue will be resolved ambically in order to defuse the ongoing situation which has caused great economic loss to various sections of the people. He said economy of the state greatly depends upon the pilgrimage and tourism. The prevailing atmosphere in the state would adversely affect the image of the state as pilgrim and tourist destination. |
