| PCC expresses concern over violence in Kishtwar, Valley | | Mangat others visit Jakhbar to personally condole death of Narinder | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Aug 12
Expressing deep concern over the incidents of violence and volatile situation in Kishtwar and various parts of Kashmir valley, PCC has appealed the people to maintain clam and religious brotherhood. While condemning the incidents of violence resulting into loss of some human lives and injuries to several others in Kishtwar of Jammu region and Kashmir Valley, the PCC has asked the administration to effectively deal with the situation. The party has appealed the people to defeat the designs of vested interests and maintain traditional harmony at all costs. In the meantime senior party leader and former minister Mangat Ram Sharma today visited the residence of Jagdish Sharma at Jakhbar Kathua to personally condole the death of Narinder Sharma who fell victim of the security forces firing during a protest at Palli Morh last week. Sharma, who was accompanied by Mula Ram, Gharu Ram former ministers and Manmohan Singh corporator and Master Lal Chand Sharma conveyed their personal condolences to the bereaved family. They urged the centre and the state governments to provide adequate relief and financial assistance to the family of Narinder Sharma and other victims of the firing and also to those who lost lives in the ongoing unrest in Jammu region. |
