| I-Day, Machail Yatra arrangements reviewed | | | Early Times Reporter

District Development Commissioner,. Sudershan Sharma convened a meeting of all district and line department officers to review the arrangements for smooth celebration of Independence Day and upcoming annual Machail Yatra commencing from August, 18.
The meeting decided that the ID function will start at District Headquarter with Shahnai Vadan followed by flag hoisting and a march past by the contingents of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, NCC cadets and students of various educational institutions of the town.
Cultural programme, At Home, composite Mushaira and illumination of the government building would be other features of the celebrations
Taking stock of the annual Machail Yatra arrangements for yatries at Kishtwar and halting stations at Gulabgarh, Massu, Chashiti and Machail, the DDC asked the concerned officers to ensure proper arrangement of sanitation, drinking water, power, medicare, transport, security and other essentials. |
