| Over 300 trucks ready to Kashmir: IGP | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | Aug 12
According to Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jammu Zone, K. Rajendra Kumar more than three hundred vehicles loaded with essential commodities are waiting at Jammu for permission to move towards Kashmir. He said due to curfew in the valley, vehicles were not allowed to move further. He said these included about 100 tankers carrying oil and Petroleum. He said the authority is in constant touch with their counterpart in Kashmir to give green signal to these standard vehicles. Rajendra said that situation in Jammu is fast returning to normal adding that barring the incident of Kishtwar, over all situation in the region remained normal. |
