| Afghan Mohalla welfare society distribute food materials | | | Early Times Reporter

The executive members of Afghan Mohalla Welfare Society (AMWS) discussed on the present situation of Jammu region, arised due to indefinite strike call given by the Shri Amarnath Sangarsh Samiti for justified solution of land dispute in Kashmir region.
Society has unanimously in the meeting resolved that the inhabitants of Afghan Mohalla are with the leadership of Sangarsh Samiti and extends its full support to Samiti for achieving its objective in restore the land allotment to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board and honoring the sentiments of the Jammuites.
In this regard, executive members have collected funds from the financially sound residents of the locality to distribute ration and other food materials among the needy and the persons living under the poverty line in the periphery of Afghan Mohalla vicnity.
Members have identified 200 such families which are in dire need of help due to the present crisis of Jammu region. Every such family will be provided 10 Kg Atta, 1 Kg Soap, 1 Kg Salt, half KG two kinds of Dal, Tea Patti and half Kg Mustard Oil & Bathing soap. Society is thankful to M/S Amar Floor Mills, Gangyal along with other donor members for this noble cause. |
