| Chib condemns Qarra’s provocative statements | | | Early Times Reporter

MLC R.S. Chib has appreciated the steps taken by the Govt. of India especially of the prime minister in resolving the land issue of land allotment to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board.
In a statement issued here today, he said keeping in view the sentiments of the people of Jammu irrespective of caste, creed and also different political affiliations. It is necessary that the land allotted should be handled to Shri Amarnath Shrine Board for construction of temporary structures for the facility of devotees.
Chib said that it is most unfortunate that Tariq Hamid Qarra, former minister and senior PDP leader has described this mass movement of the people of Jammu belonging to all religions as anti-Kashmiri and anti-Muslims Tirade. It is also a total lie on the part of Qarra that people from neighboring states have infiltrated into Jammu they are behind this movement. This type of irrespective utterances by a senior politicians leader like Qarra has never been taken seriously and appreciated that PDP who headed in the state for the last three years with the yesterday, having no grounds, along with the anti-national forces.
He said that none from any party or from any community from Jammu thought of so called economic blockade for the people of Kashmir. |
